After a VERY long wait, the next components of our kit are actually on the truck. The wings and fuselage were ordered together to save on shipping costs, and according to FedEx Freight, the kits and packaging total a thousand pounds. That’s a tad intimidating. It’s starting to feel more like a real airplane and not just parts.

We were hoping for delivery during the dead of winter since not much else to do on many foul-weather days and not much fun to fly in the ultra cold. Didn’t quite happen but at least we’ll save on hangar heat this way.

Monday, March 2 is delivery day. We’ll be spending this weekend cleaning up the hangar and making space for everything. Photos and more details coming soon! 🙂
