Vertical Stabilizer

The VS was our next effort after the rudder. Finishing the rudder gave us a heady feeling of confidence!

First time using the fluting pliers to crimp the edges and make the ribs lay flat.
Learned a lot about rivet grip length and numbering system along the way. Also how to regularly oil the pneumatic riveter.
Oops, accidentally pulled some rivets from the wrong bin and didn’t notice they were countersunk. Had to drill out and replace.
